NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 24: A woman accused the officials of Hyderabad Electricity Supply Company (Hesco) on Saturday of keeping her husband in illegal confinement.

Subhan Khatoon Mallah submitted an application to the sessions judge of Naushahro Feroze who ordered Tharushah police to lodge an FIR under section 364 and 201 PPC.

She said in the FIR that her husband Wali Mohammad and his cousin Sikandar had gone to Hesco office in Tharushah on April 28 to get their electricity bill corrected.

She said that Hesco SDO Tharushah, Ghulam Rasool Unnar and line superintendent Ali Sher Tagar, instead of correcting the bill, tortured her husband and since then he had been missing.

She said that she moved the court after police refused to register FIR. Police have, however, made no arrest till the filing of this report.

The SDO and line superintendent could not be reached for comments.
