SHIKARPUR, May 22: A woman was killed and three other people were injured in an armed attack on a village on Thursday.
Abdul Ghafoor Shar’s wife, Rani, was killed while three people, Sardar Khatoon, wife of Badal Shar, Azizullah Shar and Kamal Shar, were seriously injured when 20 armed people, believe to be Jeho tribesmen, attacked and opened fire in village Rakhyal Ji Wandh.
The motive behind the attack is said to be an ongoing dispute over karo-kari.
The two of the injured, Azizullah and Kamal, were not brought to any hospital as they are wanted by police in murder and other crimes.—Correspondent
