RAWALPINDI, May 17: Nazim Rawal Town Shaikh Rashid Shafique has issued instructions to stop illegal constructions taking place in the city.

Chairing a meeting of the town administration, the nazim said the illegal constructions were not only creating problems for the people but also diminishing the income of the municipal administration.

He vowed to deal those involved in such constructions with an iron hand and directed the administration to immediately issue notices to the owners. The nazim also directed the authorities for immediate repair of streetlights that were out of order to improve the lighting system in the city.—PPI
