QUETTA, May 11: JUI-F leader Hafiz Hamadullah has said that kidnapping for ransom and robbery were serious problems and his party would hold a peace rally on May 16 against the deteriorating law and order situation in the provincial capital.

Addressing a press conference at the party’s office on Sunday, the former provincial health minister said that kidnappings had become a ‘trade’ and people were no more safe even in their homes.

He said the authorities concerned had failed to protect people’s life and property.

He welcomed the release of BNP leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal and said the government must release all political prisoners in order to restore peace in the province.
