LAKKI MARWAT, May 9: Government employees have set up a coordination council to launch a joint struggle for solution of their problems.

The district chapters of government employees associations set up the All Government Employees Coordination Council (AGECC) during a meeting, held at the District Council Hall here on Friday.

The participants unanimously elected Fareedullah Shah as president of the new organisation. Other office-bearers included Yousaf Khan, Haji Jehangir Khan, Haji Abdul Manan, Jamil Ahmad, Imdadullah, Mohammad Nazir, Rashid Ahmad, Mohammad Yousaf Marwat, Saeed Akhtar, Azim Khan and Haji Dur Mohammad.

Speaking on the occasion, the newly elected office-holders pledged that they would work for the betterment of government employees and would leave no stone unturned in addressing their genuine problems.
