MUZAFFARGARH, May 8: The inquiry mission of Chief Minister’s Inspection Team on Thursday started probing charges of corruption by EDOs during the caretaker government before the election 2008.

Acting district nazim Malik Allah Dad Khar had given an application to the chief minister and the chief secretary against the revenue, education and buildings officials and ex-DCO, accusing the officials of having involvement in taking commission and plundering the exchequer.

The provincial higher-ups took action against the officials and sent his team to Muzaffargarh to probe the charges.

Chief Inquiry Officer Mazhar Ali Khan sought the record of all government departments and would send a report to the high command after carrying out an exhaustive probe.
