Azeem Lakhan was gunned down by armed people over a dispute over matrimony in Sarhad town and Bashir Ahmed Chachar was killed over dispute over land in Molodi Chachar village in Ghotki.

Nazir Ahmed Chachar registered a case against Mushtaq Chachar, Mukhtiar Chachar, Shabbir Chachar and others accusing them of being involved in his brother’s killing but police had so far not made any arrest.

In Qadir Bux Chachar village, armed people shot dead Muneer Ahmed Chachar over a dispute over money and an alleged thief was killed in an exchange of fire in Mahesaro town early on Wednesday morning.

Reports said that a gang of armed thieves barged into the house of a local landlord, Nizamuddin Chachar. The inmates woke up and exchanged fire with the thieves, which resulted in the death of alleged thief Shabbir Chachar. His accomplices escaped after Chahchar’s death, according to reports.

Police arrested Nizamuddin Chachar and shifted the body to nearby hospital for post mortem, but no case had been registered till the filing of this report.
