MIRAMSHAH, May 4: The Khasadar Force personnel agreed to postpone their protest for two days after thorough consultation and talks with the members of reconciliatory peace jirga on Sunday.

The tribal force postponed its protest by abandoning the official checkposts on the assurance of the reconciliatory jirga that their case would be take up with NWFP Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani during his two days visit to the tribal agency today (Monday).Sources said that the tribal elders, including Malak Mamor Khan, Malak Qadar Khan, Inayat Khan and Nasrullah Khan after lengthy negotiations with representatives of Khasadars succeeded in convincing them to put off their strike at least for two days as a good well gesture on the occasion of the governor’s visit to the troubled agency.

The governor is scheduled to arrive at Razmak Cadet College on Monday where he will meet the teachers and students of the college.

Later on the same day he would reach Dattakhel to inspect the work on the ongoing developmental projects in the area.
