KARACHI: Body found

Published May 5, 2008

KARACHI, May 4: A young man was found dead from a house in Machchar Colony on Sunday.

Area people informed the police about a stench emanating from one of the houses in the locality. The area police broke into the house, where they found the decomposing body.

“The victim has been identified as Khushhal, who had acquired this house on rent a few months back with his nephew,” said an official at the Docks police station.

“The body is almost four to five days old and he was killed due to head injury probably inflicted with a blunt weapon”.

The nephew, who was living with the victim, had been missing for the past few days even from his workplace, which gave rise to suspicions that the nephew had some role to play in the murder of Khushhal, he said.
