KARAK, May 3: District Nazim Rehmat Salam on Saturday restored the quota of old flour dealers of the city and cancelled that of new dealers allotted by provincial Minister for Prisons Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel.

A delegation comprising old flour dealers and ‘blue-eyed’ people of the nazim called on him at his office and complained about the shortage of flour, demanding restoration of their flour dealerships.

They alleged that their dealerships had been cancelled by the minister without any solid reasons and allotted the dealerships to his own workers.

The nazim phoned the provincial food minister and apprised him about the situation. He demanded to restore the quota of the old dealers and, according to sources, the food minister asked him to cancel the dealership of the new flour dealers.— Correspondent
