TOBA TEK SINGH, May 12: Police registered a case on Friday against four people for presenting a bogus graduate degree of their on death row relative to get Class B facility for him in the district jail.
Police said Yaqub, of Chak 301-GB, informed them that Mubashir was sentenced to death for killing his son Mian Muhammad Ashraf.
He added that convict’s brothers Basharat and Mudassar, father Ghaffar and aunt Ishrat Perveen, presented a fake BA degree it to jail authorities and got Class B facility for the convict in jail. Police started investigation after registering a case under sections 420, 471 and 468 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
