KARACHI, April 26: The NED University has announced the results of BE (final) electronic engineering annual examinations of 1995-96 batch, along with various batches of the Dawood College.
According to a NED university notification, 89 candidates were declared pass, while results of 24 candidates (BE 1995-96 batch) were withheld.
In all, 86 candidates were placed in the first division, while three got second division.
Syed Kamal Ahmed, seat No 496, clinched the first position, while Mohammad Imran Gill, seat No 408, and Zeeshan Hameed Khan, seat No 526, got second and third positions.
Special exams: The NED University has announced to arrange special supplementary examinations for 1995-96 batch as a last chance in May, after confirmation/receiving proposal from the Dawood College of Engineering and Technology in pursuance of a Sindh High Court decision on account of withholding their examination forms by the college for non-payment of dues.
First-year chemical, industrial, metallurgical engineering and architecture special supplementary examinations of the batch will commence on May 9, while last date for submission of examination forms has been fixed as May 4.
First-year electronics engineering special supplementary examinations will commence on May 11 for which last date for submission of exam forms is May 4.
The students have been asked to submit their forms through the DCET principal and attach previous marks sheets, copies of enrolment card, three recent photographs and a pay order in favor of director, NED University.
Practical examinations of the DCET students, studying at all the engineering disciplines, will also be conducted at the NED University’s labs, for which, the DCET principal has been asked to send three separate pay orders for electronics, chemical and industrial disciplines up to Rs500 per student in each discipline.—PPI
