KARACHI, April 25: The Sindh government has taken serious view of the violation of social and religious values at certain cultural events such as fashion shows, musical evenings, dramas, cultural shows and basant-related activities.

The government has decided that all such functions and programmes should be organized in conformity with our valued traditions and culture, and no owners of the premises, auditoriums or halls, etc, can allow any sponsor of such programmes to stage or organize shows, dramas or events without a valid NOC obtained from the Information Department (Film Branch) as required under the Dramatic Performance Act 1870.—PPI
