KHAIRPUR, April 21: Relatives of a slain PPP activist took out a rally here on Monday and demanded arrest of the accused involved in his murder.

Led by the brother and uncle of deceased Wali Mohammad Kanhar, they marched on main roads of the city and held a demonstration at the Civic Centre roundabout where they raised slogans against Pir Jo Goth police.

The brother and uncle of the deceased said that Wali Mohammad Kanhar, a PPP worker, was murdered on election day outside a polling station in the jurisdiction of Pir Jo Goth police station. An FIR was lodged but the police were not showing any interest to arrest the accused.
