LAHORE, April 20: The Punjab government on Sunday transferred and posted six senior officials.

OSD Shoaib bin Aziz was posted as Punjab Local Councils Election Authority member, upgrading the post from BS-20 to BS-21 as personal to him.

Literacy and non-formal basic education secretary Abdur Rauf Khan was transferred and posted as secretary to the provincial ombudsman.

Special secretary education (schools) Capt Zahid Saeed (retired) was given additional charge of the post vacated by Mr Khan.

Former food secretary

Sqn Ldr Ahmad Yar Khan (retired) was directed to report to the S&GAD for further orders.

OSD Javed Ahmad (income tax group) was posted as finance department's additional secretary.

Multan Development Authority director-general Mumtaz Ahmad Qureshi was transferred and directed to report to his parent housing department for further orders.—Staff Reporter
