Junior cueists fall in Yangon

KARACHI, April 12: Pakistan’s junior cueists Ahsan Javed and Mohammad Imran were knocked out in the pre-quarter-final round of ninth Asian Under-21 snooker championship in Yangon, Myanmar, according to a brief message received here on Saturday.

The team is due to return home on Sunday after taking part in the 13-nation competition.

National Junior Champion Ayaz Khan failed to qualify for the knock-out stage.—APP
