KARACHI, April 12: Seven ships carrying containers and imported wheat are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was moderate where five ships, Y.M. Inauguration, APL Tulip, Hansa Liberty and Harmony to unload and load containers and Lalazar to offload crude oil were berthed after the departure of as many.

The departing ships were led by Harmony, Hyundai Advance, Eric G. Gibson and Al-Mansoura, while Ciclo Di, Guangzhou, APL Tulip, Hansa Liberty, Y.M. Inaguration, Ceek, Lalazar and Chemstar Brave are due to sail out on Sunday.

Cargo handling activity was maintained on the higher side as the total tonnage rose to 0.107m tons comprising 29,473 tons of export cargo and 77,855 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Bengal Orchid with chemicals, New Alliance with crude oil, Bunga Terasek, Armis, Gentle and Jitra Bhum with containers and Pacific Primate with 40,700 tons of imported wheat.
