Seven army officers return to GHQ

ISLAMABAD, April 10: Seven major generals working in civilian departments have relinquished their charge and reported back to the General Headquarters (GHQ), ISPR Director-General Maj-Gen Athar Abbas told Dawn on Thursday.

The officers are: Maj-Gen Aftab Ahmad, director-general of the National Account-

ability Bureau (NAB) Headquarters; Maj-Gen Muhammad Siddique, deputy chairman of NAB; Maj-Gen Imtiaz Ahmad, chairman of the National Highway Authority (NHA); Maj-Gen Nisar Mehmood, director-general of NAB, Punjab; Maj-Gen Shahid Ahmad Hashmat, director general of NAB, Balochistan; and Maj-Gen Mukhtar Ahmed, director-general of NAB, Sindh.
