NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, April 22: The family members of the deceased Sadiq Rind, who died of the alleged police torture at the Moro police station one month ago, continued their protest here for the third day on Monday.

They staged a sit-in on the National Highway and observed a token hunger strike opposite the Moro Press Club.

A large number of citizens and political activists also joined the sit-in.

The wife of the deceased complained that although FIR was lodged against the former SHO of Moro, Hakim Ali Mithiani, and other police officials, the accused were not arrested.

She said the accused policemen were issuing threats of dire consequences in case she did not withdraw the case against them.
