MANSEHRA, April 4: The acting district police officer, Mansehra has put three police officials behind bars for taking a double murder suspect to his house to meet his family, Dawn has learnt through official sources.

The double murder suspect, Ali Raza Shah, who allegedly killed two brothers, was brought to the DHQ hospital, Mansehra for medical check-up from the district jail on Friday.

But the three police officials including head constable Faiz Alam and constables Mohammad Rashid and Mohammad Sohail after bringing Ali Raza Shah to the doctor took him to his house in Channai and arranged his meeting with his family.

Acting on a tip off the acting DPO Mansehra Shah Nazar Khan raided at the house. Later the murder suspect Ali Raza Shah was sent to jail.

The acting DPO also put the three police officials behind bars under court-guard and suspended them.

Speaking to Dawn he said that preliminary investigation was launched to know either the plot was hatched to provide a safe passage to the murderer to flee or there was any other motive.

Ali Raza Shah allegedly killed two brothers in Hamshiryan area, Mansehra over a land dispute and fled. Later police arrested him from a hideout in a raid.
