KARACHI: Weather turns pleasant

KARACHI, April 3: The mercury came slightly down on Thursday, bringing relief to Karachiites from a heat-wave that has been ebbing away over the past few days.

The Met Office forecast for Friday suggests the possibility of a light rain in certain parts of the city.

According to the Met Office, the city will enjoy a partly cloudy weather with temperature expected to range between 24°C and 32°C. Dust storm, thunderstorm or rain at one or two places is also likely in Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana divisions.

On Thursday, the minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 23°C and maximum at 30°C. Humidity stood at 64 per cent.

The highest temperature of 40.5°C was recorded at Nawabshah and the lowest of 5°C at Zhob hill station, Balochistan.
