CDGL’s premier school

LAHORE, April 2: District nazim Mian Amer Mahmood says the second premier school of the City District Government Lahore will start functioning at Chak Araian within a month.

He said 70 per cent work on the school being built on 60kanal area on Raiwind Road at a cost of Rs22.5 million had been completed.

The school, comprising 24 classrooms, two laboratories and AN administration block would be run by NGO Shaffe Noor.

The school building had been completed as a citizen community board project with the CCB providing 20 per cent of the cost and the CDGL the remaining 80 per cent.

Islamia High School, Bhati Gate, is the first premier school being run by the CDGL with the help of an NGO.
