Woman killed

ISLAMABAD, March 27: A woman was killed and her son was injured when a speeding vehicle hit them here on Thursday, police said.

Kishwar Qayyum, 40, and her 10-year-old son Hamza suffered multiple injuries in the hit-and-run accident that took place near Zero Point.

The injured were shifted to the Federal Government Services Hospital (Polyclinic) where doctors pronounced Ms Qayyum dead. Hamza is said to be in critical condition.
