SWABI, March 17: The Awami National Party (ANP) has constituted six committees which would give recommendations to the designated ministers in the NWFP cabinet from Swabi and elected parliamentarians about various issues and development projects in the two national and six provincial assembly constituencies of the district.

The committees were formed at a meeting of the elected representatives of the party here on Monday.

The participants stressed that it was the right time to utilise their energies to make the party stronger, sources privy to the meeting told Dawn.

The sources said that the leaders opined that they wanted to avoid future debacles and failure which frequently haunted the party leadership in the past.
