KARACHI, March 15: Four-year-old chestnut colt Mr Mention Not should repeat his winning act when the Gymkhana race meeting takes place at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Following his impressive six lengths win last weekend under rider Sohail Ahmed, he starts as our day’s best and tipped to make it two on trot.

Fillies Love Pakistan and Shu Manter are fancied to pose challenge to Mr Mention Not. Chestnut King Of Cool, who is making an appearance after a three-month layoff, may also figure on the board.

The present form of four-year-old bay filly Taizper suggests that she may produce another stunning performance to stretch her winning run by claiming the feature event, the last race of the day’s programme.

Though couple of fancied horses such as Sir Jee, Moomal and Sugar Sweet are among the 11 contenders barring last minute withdrawls, she enjoys an edge on recent form.

Jockey Mohammad Essa posted her to a facile seven-and-a-half length’s victory on Feb 27.

Sahibzadi and Lion Of Arab comes in the reckoning for places.

Seven-year-old mare Blind Date and four-year-old filly Midnight Furry who won their last races with ease should present their owners with yet another winner in the third and fourth races while Desperado and Cape Town should make amends by landing the first two races.
