Sajid, Jahangir and Rizwan excel

KARACHI, March 15: The Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and International Pleasure Motors (IPM) won their respective matches in the 16th Hinopak Trophy-KCCA Inter-departmental event on Friday.

The KPT defeated Central Police (West Zone) by 13 runs at the UBL Sports Complex.

Sajid Hanif hit eight fours in his 66 and Jahangir Shah got 66 with three boundaries while Mohammad Hasnain and Faraz Patel claimed three wickets each in KPT’s victory.

Meanwhile, Rizwan Saeed’s four-wicket haul and a sparking knock of 85 laced with 14 boundaries, by ex-Test opener Faisal Athar steered the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to an emphatic eight-wicket win over IPL at Landhi Gymkhana Ground.
