JACOBABAD, March 13: Four people were killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a pick-up on the Indus Highway near Bakhshapur on Thursday.

The car was going from Bakhshapur to Kandhkot when the pick-up loaded with fish coming from the opposite side collided with it.

Four people identified as Qudratullah, Amir Ali, Lakhmir and a woman Hazar Khatoon were killed on the spot, while four others, including three women, Gira Naz, Rani, Ali Nawaz Chachar and other whose name could not be ascertained, were injured.

Police shifted the bodies and injured to the Bakhshapur Hospital. Police impounded the vehicles. No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.
