Four matches decided

KARACHI, March 11: Four matches were decided on the opening day of the Inter-board girls’ badminton championship at the Officers’ Club Gymnasium in Larkana, on Tuesday. According to details made available here, six teams, which are competing in the event, have been drawn into two groups.

Group ‘A’ consists of Federal Board, Sukkur Board and Larkana Board while group ‘B’ includes Gujranwala Board, Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, (BIEK) and Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, (BSEK).

The BIEK after losing to Gujranwala straight 0-2 in the opener beat BSEK by the identical score line (2-0).

Similarly, Sukkur Board after chalking up a 2-0 victory over Larkana Board tasted a 0-2 defeat at the hands of the Federal Board.
