KHANEWAL, March 11: Six devotees were killed and another 11 were injured in an accident on Jhang Road in Kabirwala, some 35 kilometres from here, on Tuesday.

Reports said that a bus, packed with passengers, was going to Sakhi Sarwar shrine from Faisalabad.

Near 14-Pull bus stop, the driver in a bid to overtake a tractor-trolley lost control over the steering and the bus collided with an oncoming trailer.

Consequently, six devotees died on the spot while 11 others sustained injuries. They were admitted to the Shorkot THQ Hospital.

The deceased were identified as Kashif, Shahid, Naheed Akhtar, Hafiz Ali Raza, Abdul Jabbar and Basharat.
