LARKANA, March 8: PPP designated speaker of the Sindh Assembly Nisar Ahmed Khohro has pledged to maintain decorum of the house and to treat equally Opposition and Treasury benches.

Talking to journalists at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto where he reached in a procession from Dhamraho Wah on Friday night. He said party leadership had reposed confidence and he will do his best to come up to expectations.

He said the Sindh Assembly took lead of passing the Pakistan Resolution and added it would be his duty to respect all members of the Assembly.

He thanked people of Sindh who gave PPP a mandate. He said education, health, law and order and other issues would be addressed according to the intensity and in the light of party manifesto. He will try to complete the mission of Benazir Bhutto for the welfare of common men. He said positive and constructive criticism would be welcomed in the interest of people by adhering to the principle of tolerance. He said the legislation work, being prime objective of the institution will be followed without hurting prestige of the house. He said the PPP government would face challenges of unemployment and price hike.

Earlier, he was given rousing welcome at Dhamrho Wah and in big procession taken to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto after brief halts at Nasirabad, Wagan, Pakkhu, Khairpur Jusso, Police Training School Wagan road Larkana, Shaikh Zaid Colony Chowk, Mirokhan Chowk, and Naudero town. People raised slogans of Jeay Bhutto and Jeay Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

He offered Fateha on the grave of Benazir Bhutto the slain chairperson of PPP, Zulfiquar Ali Bhutto, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto.
