ISLAMABAD, March 7: Two persons were shot dead in separate incidents in Saidpur village on Friday, police said.

Darwaiza Khan, 40, a scavenger, was found shot dead in his make-shift house located close to a police barrack in Saidpur village early Friday morning. Police said Khan, father of six, was sleeping in the house with his six-year-old son when he was shot and killed by an unidentified person with a 30-bore pistol.

In the second incident, Nazar Gul, a labourer, was sleeping in his make-shift tent when an unidentified person shot and killed him.

The police said Gul suffered three bullet wounds and the same type of weapon as used in the previous case was used by the killer.

A beggar had also been shot dead in the locality in a similar manner about two days back. Police have been trying to trace the killer.
