KARACHI, March 7: The City District Government Karachi has officially announced the wholesale and retail prices of fresh milk at Rs32 and Rs34 a litre, respectively.
An official handout issued on Friday stated that the city government had fixed the prices of fresh milk in consultation with the representatives of dairy farmers in the metropolis.
To review the rates of fresh milk, a meeting was held with District Coordination Officer Javed Hanif in the chair.
The meeting fixed fresh milk prices both in wholesale and retail at Rs32 and Rs34, respectively.
Executive District Officer (Enterprises and Investment Promotion) Dr Shahab Imam, EDO (Agriculture) and Chairman Agriculture Monitoring Committee Dr Rafiq Babar, Haji Sikandar of Dairy Farms Association of Karachi and Retailers Association’s president Abdul Wahid Gaddi attended the meeting.—PPI
