KARACHI, March 5: A student, Musadique Ali of Chandka Medical College Larkana secured 1st position, Mohammad Maqsood of Rawalpindi Medical College secured 2nd position, and Naveed Ahmed Shaikh of Chandka Medical College and Ms Rabia Tahir of Nishtar Medical College Multan shared the 3rd position in the 11th Proficiency Evaluation Test 2007 organised by the PMA Science and Health Council for senior medical students.

This countrywide test was held in 11 different cities and students from 14 medical colleges participated in the test, PMA announced on Wednesday.

The primary aim of the test was to improve the current standard of medical education in the country.

The idea was to provide healthy competition among the students and also to evaluate the standard of education in different colleges in the country.

Complete result is displayed at PMA National Headquarters, Sir Aga Khan III Road in Karachi.—PPI
