ISLAMABAD, April 15: The Election Commission took cognizance of various representations made against the preliminary delimitation of National and Provincial Assembly Constituencies, says a press release.

The EC has so far received 891 objections to the delimitation.

On the National Assembly, It has received 21 objections from the NWFP, 10 from Fata, two from Islamabad, 164 from Punjab, 90 from Sindh and 19 from Balochistan. It has received 140 objections from the NWFP, 252 from Punjab, 120 from Sindh and 73 from Balochistan on the delimitations of provincial assemblies.—NNI
