Two houses catch fire

LAHORE, March 1: Valuables were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a house near the Madhu Lal Hussain shrine in Baghbanpura area on Saturday.

An Edhi official said the fire erupted in the house of Asif, a vegetables vendor, owing to short-circuit.

In another incident, valuables worth in thousands were burnt when a fire engulfed a house in Tajpura Scheme.
