Man killed on resistance

TOBA TEK SINGH, March 1: A man was killed for resisting a robbery in his house in a village near Kamalia late on Friday night.

Five robbers stormed Riaz Tarar’s house in Chak 732-GB, about 30 kilometres from Toba Tek Singh, and beat up his family members. They also injured Riaz Tarar, Riaz Rajoo and Ali Sher for resisting the robbery. The injured were being taken to the tehsil hospital when Riaz Tarar succumbed to his injuries. Rajoo and Sher were said to be in a critical condition.—Correspondent
