Robberies remain a going concern

LAHORE, Feb 28: Robbers plundered bagfuls of cash and gold ornaments in eight house strikes in different parts of the city on Thursday.

Four robbers barged in the house of Niamat in Sattukatla, held up the inmates and took away cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs300,000.

At Township, four robbers stormed into Zafar’s house and took away Rs40,000 in cash, gold ornaments and two cell phones. Two robbers robbed Wakeel and family of Rs300,000 at his house.

A gang of four entered the house of Rahman Malik in Misri Shah , looted cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs400,000 and escaped.

Three armed men deprived Usman of cash and valuables worth Rs200,000. Four robbers entered the house of Mahboob in Nawankot and took away cash and valuables worth Rs250,000.

Robbers targeted the houses of Rana Azmat in Gulshan Iqbal and Salahuddin in Chuhng.

Three robbers looted Rs15,000 and a cell phone from Manzoor. The Factory Area police claimed they arrested one of the robbers.

Ameen was deprived of Rs45,000 in cash and a cell phone in South Cantonment while Younis was deprived of Rs80,000 and a cell phone in limits of Lytton Road police.
