KARACHI, Feb 25: Nine ships carrying soyabean oil, containers and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active as 13 ships including Nats Emperor to unload DAP fertilizer, Sima Sahba, Conti Germany, Lisa-J, As Mars and Wan Hai-303 to unload load containers, coal and general cargo were accommodated berths.

Sailing was also active as over a dozen ships, notably Oel Shreyas, APL Tulip, Harmony, Tower Bridge, Ninth Ocean, Liquid Success, Lagonda, Lalazar, Liquid Challange and Al-Maqwa were departed on Monday, while Orient Stride, Royal Imperial, Wan Hai-303, Lis-J, Mol Ability, Pulau Cebu and Delta Ranger are due to sail out on Tuesday.

A total tonnage of 0.238m tons comprising 59,696 tons of export cargo and 0.179 tons of import tonnage was handled during the last two days.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Rising Sun, with 7,000 tons of soyabean oil, Gagasan Melaka, Jo Birk, Chemroad Luna to load ethanol, China Star, APL Sokhna, Y.M. Moji, Creek and Faith-1 with containers.
