It’s a good sign: PCB chief

Published February 20, 2008

LAHORE, Feb 19: The PCB Chairman Dr Nasim Ashraf has expressed that the smooth conduct of the general elections in the country on Monday will pave way for Australia’s tour.

“The law and order situation in the country is quite satisfactory and after the general elections it will improve further and I am hopeful that the Australian tour of Pakistan will take place,” he said.

“It is a good sign that Cricket Australia has showed its consent for sending a security delegation, otherwise, before the elections the situation was different,” he added.
