Securities training course at KSE

KARACHI, Feb 19: The Karachi Stock Exchange in collaboration with the Institute of Securities, Management and Research, has launched a securities trading course at the KSE.

The basic purpose of this course is to create awareness and knowledge of stock market trading and operations amongst the investors to expand their base in the country.

The first training programme began from Jan 29, 2008 and concluded on Feb 16, 2008. It was largely attended by the market participants and investors. After completion of the programme for the first batch, certificates were distributed amongst the participants by Adnan Afridi, managing director KSE.

In order to provide such facilities to retail investors, the KSE has decided to continue the training programme and accordingly classes for the second batch will commence from Feb 26.—PPI
