SHIKARPUR, Feb 18: Six ballot paper books with 100 leaves each were reported missing from polling station#75 in Hazar Khan Chandio village (NA-202) as the bag was received unsealed.

Presiding Officer Mohammad Ilyas Hajano was arrested and polling process restarted after two hours when the DRO Shikarpur, Ghulam Mustafa along with RO Ahmed Saba visited the polling station.

Reports of bogus voting were also received from polling station Abdul Karim Kosh, Taluka Khanpur and other places.

PPP candidates for NA-203 Sardar Wahid Bux Bhayo and Kamran Khan Mahar for PS-10 boycotted polling at Andhlani-Sehwani village due to clash.

Voters’ turnout was 25 per cent in early hours which went up to 45 per cent after 11am. The trend of voting was to the PPP to a great extent.
