MIRPURKHAS: PPP activists picked up

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 15: Town Police detained four PPP activists here on Friday. Reports said police carried out raids and picked up four PPP activists Javed Baloch, Imran Baloch, Waheed Baloch and Nasir Shaikh and detained them at Town Police Station.

Police denied giving any reason for detention.

Meanwhile, over two dozen PPP women activists held demonstration outside the Town Police Station and demanded release of arrested workers. PPP candidate for PS-64 Mirpurkhas-I, Naveed Buland accused police were arresting the party activists on the order of high-ups.—BoC
