KARACHI, Feb 14: Six ships carrying containers and to load molasses and cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where half a dozen ships, Sky Venus, Augusta, Hyundai Stride, and Cape Negro to unload and load containers, Hyun Jin to load cement and Jin Hui to offload coal were berthed after the departure of nine.

The departed ships were led by James Park, Steela Denab, St. Irene, Jindal Kamla, Pacific Arrow, APL Brisbane, Sinar Bintan and Annita, while Valiant, Kuleli, Formosa Product Cosmost, Sky Venus, Cape Negro, Jewel-1 and Frontier Ace are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.136m tons comprising 56,833 tons of export cargo and 79,209 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Red Sea Spirit to load 16,500 tons of cement, Maeiella Bottigllori, to load 33,000 tons of molasses, Merbabu to offload crude oil, Y.M. Inventive, Eric G. Gibson with containers and Breeze with general cargo.
