KARACHI, Feb 14: ICI Pakistan, Al-Ghazi Tractors and Tri-Pack Films announced the corporate results for the year ended on December 31, 2007.

ICI Pakistan posted profit after tax (PAT) at Rs1.78 billion, showing increase of 23 per cent over the last year. Earning per share (eps) rose to Rs12.86 from Rs10.49 in 2006. Net sales of the company grew by 18 per cent to Rs23 billion, from Rs19.6 billion.

Al-Ghazi Tractors reported net profit after tax at Rs1,267 million translating into eps at Rs29.52, compared with PAT amounting to Rs1,229 million and eps at Rs28.63 the earlier year. The Board declared final cash dividend at Rs7.50 per share. That was in addition to the interim already paid at Rs10 per share. Sales edged up to Rs9,081 million for the year under review from Rs9,023 million last year.

Tri-Pack Films recorded PAT at Rs440 million and eps at Rs14.67, compared with PAT at Rs168 million and eps at Rs5.60 the earlier year. Directors recommended final cash dividend at Rs6 per share, which was in addition to interim already paid at Rs4 per share. Net sales rose to Rs4,555 million for the latest year, from Rs3,826 million the previous year.
