LAKKI MARWAT, Feb 11: The police on Monday arrested three men and seized fake computerised national identity cards (CNICs) from them, official sources said.

According to the sources, a joint party of police and FC raided a photocopy shop and recovered 11 fake CNICs, bogus stamps, a computer and Rs10,000, and arrested the owner of the shop, Arshad.

The officials said that the police also arrested a brother of Arshad, namely Tariq and their accomplice, Zeeshan.

The sources said a list containing names and addresses of nearly 245 people, mostly belonging to Adamzai and Behramkhel localities of the district, was also recovered from the shop and that these people were likely to be issued fake identity cards.

The police registered a case against the three accused and started investigations.
