GUJRANWALA, Feb 6: A gunman of Ch Iqbal, a PML-Q candidate for PP-98, was killed and one of his supporters injured in an attack on the election campaigners at Mauza Dhariwala on Wednesday.

Iqbal (a former health minister) was returning to his office from electioneering when some armed men sprayed them with bullets. Iqbal’s gunman Billa was killed and Muhammad Idrees suffered injuries. Police registered a case. — Correspondent
