Terror suspects held

LAHORE, Feb 5: An alleged suicide bomber and his three accomplices, suspected to be members of a banned religious outfit ‘Lashkar-i-Jhangvi’, were arrested in the provincial capital on Tuesday, unconfirmed reports say.

The arrested were identified as Fida Husain, said to be maternal nephew of Riaz Basra, Jawad, Mureed Husain and Ali Hasan.

Ali Hasan is said to be an expert in preparing suicide jackets and conducting brain-washing.

The arrested accused are said to be involved in terrorism incidents in Rawalpindi and Sargodha.

Capital City Police Officer (additional IG) Malik Muhammad Iqbal, when contacted, did not confirm the incident.
