Police recover body after 24 hours

SHIKARPUR, Feb 5: After a clash on Monday which left a man killed and three others wounded, the police failed to enter into village Sadiq Jeho Goth the same day to recover the corpse as situation in the area was tense.

Later, after the passage of 24 hours, police entered into the village to recover the body and brought it to the Garhi Yasin Hospital.The body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem on Tuesday.

Shahban Jeho was killed and Ajeeb, Hameet and Sagheer Jeho were injured in the clash between two rival groups.

Garhi Yasin police have registered a case against seven accused, including Gulab, Sanseer, Deenal, Naimat, Mohammad Moosa, Mohammad Ismail and Liaquat, all Jehas by caste.

No arrest was reported till the filing of this report.
