TOBA TEK SINGH, Feb 2: Two staunch supporters of Riaz Fatyana and his wife, Ashfa Fatyana, PML-Q candidates for NA-94 and PP-88, on Saturday announced supporting PML-N candidates Chaudhry Asadur Rehman and Nazia Raheel for these slots, respectively.

Talking to reporters at Kamalia Press Club, Rai Nadeemullah Khan, who is a union council nazim, and his cousin Rai Ziaullah Khan, former Kamalia municipal committee chairman, said that they had decided supporting the PML-N candidates as they were of the view that supporting or voting for the PML-Q candidates was in fact the support of anti-people policies of the present regime.

Sources see this decision as an extraordinary development, which is likely to strengthen the position of PML-N candidates and weaken that of the PML-Q’s Fatyana duo.
