Girl killed for refusing to marry

KASUR, April 9: Refusal to a marriage proposal claimed a life in a village near Mustafabad on Tuesday.

According to details, one Muhammad Iqbal proposed one Fatima but she refused.

In a rush of blood, Iqbal and his accomplices shot dead Fatima.

Police have registered a case.

ARRESTED: A local police team on Tuesday claimed to have arrested seven gamblers in basti Qadirabad.

Acting on a tip-off, the Saddar police raided a den and arrested seven culprits, including Allah Wasaia, with Rs1,450 stake money.

STOLEN: Thieves on Tuesday took away agricultural medicines worth Rs50,000 from a store near Ganda Singhwala.

Reports said Muhammad Bashir and his accomplice stole away the medicines from Muhammad Younis’ shop.

Police have registered a case.
